2 Straight Zero Days

Well, I played basketball for the first time in 6 months on Tuesday morning. I ended up playing straight for about 75 minutes, and was sore everywhere within an hour. Probably not the smartest thing I've ever done, but I had fun.
That resulted in Wednesday being a rest day. My hip flexors were more sore than they've ever been, along with the outsides of my calves. I decided Wednesday that Thursday's long run would be a slugfest.
Thursday's long run didn't happen. I woke up early knowing I had to have my 20 miles done by 8:30 am, so that I could have breakfast ready for Ellie and Eddy (my Thursday tradition). I woke up to see the Garmin hadn't charged, my shoes were still wet, and my headphones had busted.
Instead of gutting out some miles, I decided I'd run 'later.' Yeah, right. And SteveQ will run later in the day, when it 'warms up.' --ps, I have NO IDEA why I can't make a link work. I type it in...and for some reason blogger sticks "left-right-blahblahblah" in front of it. I give up.
So Thursday slowly slipped away, and now I'm looking at a total of 15 miles on the week so far, when my goal was 50.
BUT, I'm gonna get 50 in.
Tonight will be a 10 miler after Eddy's sleeping, and tomorrow will be another 10.
Looking ahead to Sunday, it appears I'll still get to take part in a 20 mile slugfest with Mother Nature. Bring it!

Next time play gay. It won't take as long and obviously it's more natural for you.

Or play bi.

Because you're not bi-polar ... you're bi-winning!

G, I was expecting the joke...but no help with the links?

Are you done with the Shakespeare stuff yet?

ZOMG, Nic! It was SteveQ's blog, so I didn't try to follow the link because I already have a trail of breadcrumbs from my Mac to his blog.

You have:

http://left-right-repeat.blogspot.com/stevequick.blogspot.com

What you want is:

http://stevequick.blogspot.com

I marvel at your ability to do this EVERY time. I truly can't figure it out.

Interesting that it's a fusion of your blog's url and Steve's - the cyber-equivalent of writing "Mrs. SteveQ ... <3 <3 <3" all over your notebook, Ellora?

Steve's the STAR of the track team. He'd never settle for the likes of you.

Yes, I know that's the problem. When I enter the address, I enter it correctly. Blogger, which is starting to move up into the MapMyRun region of dislike for me, automatically inserts the leftrightrepeat stuff. annoying.

Maybe I'll send you a tutorial on how to edit in the html interface.

Just stick an http:// in front of your link and you'll be fine. When you link to "stevequick.blogspot.com", blogger assumes this is a local page and inserts the base URL for you. I bet it would work if you typed "http://stevequick.blogspot.com" for the URL you're linking to.

At least, that's my guess as to what's happening ...
