Especially in this weather, there will be minimal skin exposure.
I've decided to get at least a mile in each day for a while (hence, starting a 'streak'). I want to commit to a challenge in preparation for Ice Age (I either want to break 4 hours in the 50k or step up and run the 50 miler). While I know I can turn on the speed when the weather improves, now is the time to develop a better base. I realize that a simple mile daily isn't exactly developing a base, but it WILL work and motivate me to get me in to a routine, which will lead to more daily miles.
I didn't pick the best time to start this, considering the weather. Yet, I've been out there 3 straight days and look forward to keeping this little 'game' of mine going. A couple pictures from the last 2 runs (in -15 degree weather):
