Maritime Marathon Tomorrow!

Weather isn't looking great for my LESS-THAN-THREE-HOUR run tomorrow.  It's looking like it may be hotter than normal, humid, and with a headwind in the second half of the run.

My plan:

  • Stay Relaxed.  I'll feel GREAT! in the first 30 minutes, but resist the urge to take off and stay in my target heart rate zone.
  • Get to the half way point feeling GREAT.
  • Get to the REAL half way point (Mile 20) feeling GOOD.
  • Embrace The Pain and earn it in the final 10k.
  • Finish with a smile.  Drink a beer.  Relax.
  • Start thinking about the trail races I've got on my schedule this fall!
