ouch.

Congrats to the lam and Marcy. I'm going on a run.

But this time the run has a purpose, as today is the beginning of my 16-week build up to the Journeys Marathon! It starts pretty simple...3 miles. I'm giddy now that there's a schedule for me to follow and very soon some hard speed workouts to make my lungs scream. Woo Hoo!

Well, I accept your congratlations with the understanding that the packers had a great season. It was a crazy but entertaining game, no doubt. How you Wisconsiners run or play football in such cold weather is beyond me.

That 16 weeks will go by quickly and I know you will be ready. We are meeting in Boston '09 and I won't take no for an answer..

Biofreeze! Thank you for the correction. I must not have been seeing straight.

As for other half/full challenges, there must be more out there besides Disney but I'm not aware of them. I know Cincinnati's Flying Pig has a 10k and 5k on Saturday at different times - you could do both of these I believe -and the half and full on Sunday at the same time.
